Fall

The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping and fall is in the air.  School is going well for Jon and Abi and I are enjoying our days together at home.

Abi will be 8 months old in a few days.  She weighs about 12 and a half pounds and is 25 inches long.  She loves "standing" with help and is trying to sit up.  However she loves to arch her back and this greatly inhibits her ability to stay in a sitting position.

Abi is babbaling up a storm and loves sucking on her fingers.  She smiles in response to others, giggles often and is grow up quickly.  Following are some pictures from September and October.  Hope you enjoy them.

September

The Brant Family came for a visit!!!
It was so good to see all of them!

Johnmark and Abi.
He loved playing with Abi and talking to her.

Johnmark and Nathan Brant

Abi, helping Daddy teach.
The students always love when she comes for a visit!

Abi's first football game.

Apple Picking

Our friends Nate and Rachel came with us.

We tried to get Abi to pick her share of apples
but for some reason she just stared at them.
At least it was an Abi size tree.

Enjoying the fall evening with Daddy

Playing with her doll from Great Grandmom Hagerman

Helping Daddy grade some tests

She wasn't too impressed with some of their work...

Pop Pop teasing Abi

At the town Heritage Festival

It was in the 40's that day

October

All bundled up for our evening walk.

Helping cook dinner

Ready for our evening stroll

Her hat is a little big... we aren't sure how long
it was over her eyes before we noticed.
She was very content playing with it this way.

Sitting on her own... it lasted a few seconds.

This time lasted about 20 seconds... longest try yet.

Snuggles

We thought we would add some of Abi's crazy hair pictures just for kicks and giggles.  Her hair actually comes down past her nose when pulled straight but it's so curly you would never know!
